Now that I have time to mow the lawn it is dying, I vote for SB to be in the Fall.

I got nothing.

DD is helping with her old MS Team, she is going into HS year. I think the coach helps her more then she helps the coach. Have I mentioned how much she enjoyed school ball and the coaches?

No BBQ at my house this weekend. If you have read the news WM the heat wave we are going to have is going to scorch the entire southland and leave nothing but a barren wasteland of bloated corpses so I am checking off my bucket list today. Anyone have Meagan Fox's phone number?

Just kidding...my daughter who is taking a break from softball is playing in the Harbor Havoc tournament in San Diego right near the Ocean. Not sure why she decided to play during her break, I gave up trying to figure her out a while ago. I am learning that her mother's DNA is winning the battle with the awesome genes I gave her so her logic is not always as sound as I would like it, but she is tall and is good at math so there's that.

We are in that weird zone between seasons. But volleyball starts back up in 11 days and baseball starts again on Saturday. No softball in the immediate future. I guess I will just have to come here for the jokes.

If you bring food and beer, I will fire up the BBQ. It's going to be hot outside, so being neck-deep in my 82-degree pool while pouring cold beer into my head sounds like a great plan.

Saturday morning, DD and I will be heading a local park for a little fielding/throwing/catching work getting her dialed in with the 12" ball.

At some point, I need to crawl under my house and pound some nails.
