This all seems so silly - watched a 12U game this weekend and while there was drama because our team was up and the other team thought umps were calling girls safe when they were out - etc..lots of just rude behavior but no fighting.

I did hear last year that the cops had to be called at one of the All-Star games - for a tee-ball team? I just don't get it...

Unfortunately, this happened about an hour and a half from me. It’s really sad to see 12 year olds trying too get their dads to quit being asses. Popular venue for B/C teams in Northeast TN. These remarkable parents were from NC and VA from what I was told.

I was just getting ready to rib you about your good ole TN and then you threw that NC jab in there! So I'll be quite now:rolleyes:

Yes sir, you're definitely right! I do agree with what Jdaddy said about B/C venues, which is Topgun in our area, basically boils down to ******* parents who are just ignorant and don't know or respect the game! I'm sure every dad here has had one moment in this crazy game where we wanted to explode for some reason or situation, but as a rational adults, bit our tongue and moved on! Lord knows I have!

Do these people have ANY idea what they are doing to their daughters? Not only do you see the one girl crying in the video, you can hear quite a few others scared and crying in the background. I just don't get it.

While attending my first ever "travel ball" tournament with DD1 5 years ago, I stopped to watch some 16U teams play. One of the girls had a decent sized hole in the back of her pants and a mom made a not very nice comment about it. Dad of said girl piped up and told the woman he heard her and didn't appreciate it. She then started to yell at him about how maybe he should buy his daughter some decent pants. It got a little heated and here's the kicker...both parents had girls on the same team.

As a college coach....it pains me to see that. Parents need to realize that when we recruit we watch parents also and how they act. Don't they realize the repercussions??? The girl crying at the end made me cry because I feel bad for her.
