These girls will most definitely be better for having attended this clinic!!!!
However, you'll need to prepare them and their parents to have thick skin. Howard tells it like it is... He doesn't sugar coat anything. Some of them will be insulted and angry with the "truth" he may say.
One thing for sure is EVERYONE will be TOO SLOW!!!!
With that said, I highly recommend any clinics with Howard. Just be prepared for unflattering comments along the way

Congratulations and nice job getting some of the top instructors in the country to southern Minnesota. Hope it pays big dividends to your programs down there.

I have always wanted to get dd to one of these but she has to take SAT on the 10th. We would make that trip for sure if she could go.

Some people are snowflakes...

Some people are snow balls...rock hard, icy snow balls...

My DDs would love this guy...

My kids take criticism well, but this guy was brutal. Insulted every player in the 20+ girl class, and called out girls specifically for being fat or lazy or slow. Mine didn't get it too much, but they still talk about how bad they felt for some of the others that took a beating.

There are ways to achieve great things without resorting to this guy's methods.

The ages are not cast in stone.... it makes things work better for Howard if kids are of similar talent... that's why the age groups... BUT if you wanted to do TWO trips she could come Friday night in the young age and Sunday in an older group... just an idea, trying to help.

Looks like it is pretty strenuous- I’m guessing that’s why the two sessions aren’t on the same day. Even if we were going to try to jam in two sessions in one day, it would have to be Sunday and it doesn’t look like it would work. Our drive is 5.5 hours if the weather is good... dang it....

The long awaited weekend has come and gone. Howard was at a nearby town for two clinics on wed/thursday then i had him in town friday saturday and sunday. Everyone learned how to be faster and yes they are pushed hard. Most enjoyed very much and would do it again. Yes there were a couple that thought he was to harsh, some thought he didn't push them enough. I'm sure there's always a couple that don't like any clinic for some reason or another. Today he goes to a local college to train their players and Wednesday we are back at my high school for some more. Thank You Howard for putting so much effort into softball fielding. I had several that arranged it to do both clinics in one day. It's ok to do that. Next time I'll know better.
