The Denison Parks and Recreation Dept. is offering a fall fastpitch league for 8U, 10U & 12U teams. 8U IS coach pitch. Team registration is $350 and every team is guaranteed at least 8 games for the season. Umpire fees are included in the entry fee. No gate fees and every team is provided with 6 softballs to start the season. For more rules please read below:

• 1 Umpire per field
• Teams may bat its entire roster or 9. Teams may use the “flex” player.
• Teams may start with and play down to 8 players, 9th spot will be an automatic out.
• Coin toss for home and visitor
• 1:10 games, finish the batter
• 5 runs per inning max
• Each team will be furnished 6 softballs to start the season. Teams will be responsible for their own softballs. Must have at least 2 softballs to start a game. Every game ball must be ASA 47/375 softballs.
• There must be a designated coach in the dugout, cannot be a player
• To speed up the game, if batting entire roster the last out may run for the pitcher/catcher once per inning
• Teams are not required to have matching uniforms but ALL players must have a number on the back of their jersey.
• 8U, 10U & 12U divisions will be offered.
• Age Qualifications. A player’s age as of December 31 determines the age in which the player is eligible to play the following year.
• 8-Under Age Classification. A player born after December 31, 2005 is ELIGIBLE.
• 10-Under Age Classification. A player born after December 31, 2003 is ELIGIBLE.
• 12-Under Age Classification. A player born after December 31, 2001 is ELIGIBLE.
• Players of younger age classification may play in older age division but not two teams in the same age classification. Players in the older age classification may not play in the younger classification.
• Coaches are encouraged to keep credentials in case of protest over player eligibility.
• Protest fee is $50 cash up front.
• All teams must complete and TURN IN a team roster before 1st game.
• 8 game guarantee
• $350 per team. $100 deposit is required to hold a spot. Leagues fees must be paid in full by 3rd game.
