Hi softball lovers at the US West coast. From may 24th up to june 12th me and my girlfriend will leave the Netherlands and take a holiday on the west coast. Being big time baseball and fastpitch lovers we most certainly want to watch some games. After all the Dutch may have won the Baseball classic, but we are not mistaken on what country rules the base- and softball world :).

For baseball this was setup quite easily. We already have tickets to see the Dodgers playing the Padres and the Giants playing the Diamondbacks. Finding a good fastpitch game to watch has been far more challenging. Could any of you help me to a website that offers tickets or a schedule?

Your help would be very much appreciated!

If you're truly a softball fan and don't mind a little bit of travel to Oklahoma, this is an absolute must see. No matter which games you go to, they ought to be fantastic. here's the link. DI Softball Tickets | NCAA.com
The 2015 WCWS tickets are going fast. I think there are only Outfield Seat Tickets left so if you want to go, you ought to get them now.

Thank you for the tip, but we are taking a 3-week holiday to the west coast and won't be able to travel to Oklahoma during this period. So we are looking for something in the LA, Vegas, SF triangle.

Unfortunately, there are no NPF professional SB teams on the West Coast and by then, most college tournaments/championships are over. The only other thing I can think of is possibly going to either an ASA or PGF USA National qualifier tournament and watching the older girls (16u/18U) play on elimination day. Maybe some others can recommend some semi-pro games local to their areas.

This^^^^^^^^ rent a car and make the drive. NCAA tournament in Oklahoma will be some of the best softball you can watch.

Wish I was going to watch the San Diego Padres play. The Manager for the San Diego Padres was my little league baseball coach while he was pitching at the local jr. college. His trip to playing in the Major Leagues began at the jr. college level. His trip to coaching and managing in the Major Leagues began in Little League. Just a tid bit of information.

I would look at your schedule and find a good tournament nearby. In those areas it will be every weekend. You can watch 2 or 3 games in a few hours and meet some nice people at the same time.

When you make it out here, PM me and I will give you some options, you will probably have to settle for watching younger kids play but there will be plenty of opportunities to see the best 17 and 18 year olds out there.

It's not a problem for us if it's a youth game. We just want to see a good softball game with a real American ambiance and maybe meet some nice people. In short we just want to get out among the softball fans of the USA :).

We are looking for a game/tournament at one of these dates and locations:
24th - 26th may - Vicinity of Los Angeles
1st - 4th june - Vicinity of Las Vegas
10th - 13th june - Vicinity of San Francisco

Thanks for all the replies so far!

Well, you are missing Las Vegas by a couple of weeks

The JO Classic is held June 13-14 this year and features about 300 teams from around the country and Canada.
It's a large college showcase event for the 16u and 18u so several of the best teams and players in the country are there.
