Sorry I haven't been on here much over the last few weeks. My mom and dad took a bunch of their accrued vacation days off of work and we went to Orlando, Florida and spent 10 days with my family in Florida going to Disney World and watching my cousins play softball. Their coach even came up and talked to me, asking me about my injury and stuff. Rehab while we were on vacation was the difficult part...but I fit it in too. Then we flew to Miami and stayed in a hotel. We did a lot of different things there. We even went to a Marlins game. Then it was off to Nassau, Bahamas. We stayed at the Atlantis thing they're advertising on TV and YouTube. We even did the whole dolphins thing they offer.

We got back home Saturday, and had my appointment today with the orthopedist. I got the splint off!! WHOO-HOO!!!! My range of motion is really good. It needs a little bit more work. But will be back at 100% soon. I'm cleared to work the elbow as much as pain will allow. I can work on building strength and building conditioning. My only real restriction is with practicing batting. She doesn't want me swinging at hard thrown stuff right now. That's something I don't care about that right now. I'm just happy to be cleared to return to working the elbow and being able to throw without restriction and according to pain :D.

Awesome to hear. Get back in the game soon....

Thank you for the encouragement, warriormike. As soon as we got home from the orthopedist, the markets and getting pizza...I was working on my pop and throw times. I can still pop up quickly enough...but my throw...it's not good. I don't think I even got the ball much beyond the circle. But that gives me something to drive and motivate me to get better.

DD trys her hand at pitching. 1 C seems to want to send her to emergency, she runs out of circle if someone is stealing 2nd, C throws at her head. ☺

(game the other day other Team C hit P hard, she was ducking in cirle.)

Wow...sounds like the catcher doesn't have much control over her throw. Especially when your daughter is ducking out of fear.

I don't know about that. A head-high throw through the middle of the circle sounds like a pretty good throw to 2B.
