I recently saw a new tool being promoted but for the life of me I can't seem to located it again. It seemed to be fairly new. It was a Softball on a rope that threaded through a rod that a coach held. The hitter swings away and you can see the balls flight path, but the rope keeps it from going to far, and the coach then has a handle that pulls the ball back into a hit position. Doe anyone know the name of the product and where to find it. I was thinking this would be a great tool to have for pregame hitting at travel tournaments where warm up space is limited.

No, not the Zip n Hit. This tool actually Looks like a HIT Stick, but It's hollow and has a softball tethered to a rope that runs inside the rod. the Coach holds the Tool Up, and the ball hangs in the strike zone. The batter then hits the ball, you can see the direction of the hit, but it only goes so far with the tether. The coach can then pull the ball back up into the hitting position. It almost looked like a big fishing rod. I saw the video somewhere, and now I can't seem to find it again. I think it's a new tool.

The added value as far as I can see is that you don't have to take tee and net to tournament. Condenses your traveling equipment. Just had a parent ask me about 1.

Not that anyone asked for a review of the product, but seems like the rope would encourage hitting down and through, or more specifically, discourage getting the barrel behind the ball and getting on plane with the pitch. In other words, a proper swing path would hit the rope.

Looks good from the hitters perspective but looks quite jarring to the coach. I can't imagine holding that for 10 swings per player, 12 players at a time, during a 6+ game tournament. Call me a wimp but I do have some old injuries and those jarring motions over time seem to be the worst.
