DD went last year as a freshman/incoming sophomore. Lots of college coaches attended (including many D1 schools). DD went as an individual (as opposed to with a team) so she got to play with 8 other girls that came and she had 2 college coaches in her dugout for all 4 games. Overall a great experience for her. Keep in mind the NCAA rules so if your DD doesn't get any coaches approaching her it may be because she is too young. Also, they let you pick camps in the morning for your DD to participate in but there are absolutely no breaks in between. I would suggest skipping one to give your DD a break especially on a hot day.

dd#2 did one last year in sacramento like above poster, her team was not playing and she played with 9 other girls and had a blast. 2 different college coaches for each game(mostly small schools d3 naia and jc) but was great environment for her to mingle with other kids. they didnt coach much but that was ok even if your team was there the coaches still coached teams. the camp was ok, it was a little pricey and kinda ran through at a fast pace but the coaches ran the drills and the girls interacted with them..

DD has been to two of these, one in Oakley 2 years ago that was very well run and had a lot of coaches from schools of interest, one in Sacramento last year which was poorly organized and had many of the coaches disappear from the website 2 weeks before the camp.
Skills sessions were good at both camps, but the Sacto camp bounced kids around both days trying to get their teams balanced.

IMHO there is more upside to going to the camp solo than with your team because the assembled teams get a pair of college coaches for each game.

USA Elite was good last year in Sac but the host team all but disappeared off the face of the earth or folded I guess.

A lot of good experience with the age groups being mixed, and them learning from the college coaches, and their peers. We did both the camp/clinic. played in the all star game, and participated in the 5 gg tourney/friendly. All in all it was a big confidence booster and helped girls prepare for the next level, but wasn't overwhelming with mechanics work, and the groups were large.
