Unless your team is a top tier team looking to play ONLY Elite level teams, this is a very good option.

1) You get bells and whistles of a World Series...team Parade (opening Ceremonies), skill competitions, pin trading...(cool for the younger teams)
2) You get a fair amount of ball in, but don't get your games spread out like many WS events. The event in Columbus plays games over 3 days (still get 5+ games in), where others events you may play 1 or 2 games a day max till late (days 4-5...) in the tourney.
3) A little cheaper, tourney isn't real expensive, all games are at 1 location (Berliner Park has 32 fields). $5 a day to park is only admission fee.
4) Balance of quality of teams...mix of B to low A.
5) Rainouts: Can handle some weather, 12 of the 32 fields are turf infields.

Only negative I have: Due to the amount of teams, and amount of $$ (ie stuff) left in vehicles, there has been past history of cars broken into in parking lots. Not really a concern as far as safety, just use common sense in hiding/securing valuables and should have no issue. There is a solid police presence, but obviously that many teams its nearly impossible to watch it all!
