Default NY-PA 16u-18u Folks - Which tournament would you choose?

I have a very young 18U team (only 2 players are 18U, rest is 16U) and am looking for 1 more tournament to round up our competitive schedule in early august (weekend of Aug 3-5) before going to our Nationals.

Price isn't a factor. They're all at about 7 hours for us (Montreal, Quebec).

We aren't really undecided between the following three. Any input from anybody would be appreciated.

Which of the following would you take?

Option 1 - Rod Simons Summer Splash, Levittown, NY (Near Long Island)

    2012 Rod Simons Summer Splash

Option 2 - Southern Tier Bandits Showcase, Olean, NY (South of Buffalo)

Info from organizer: Currently I have; Amherst Lightning Drayer 18U/ Lou Gehrg 16 U Gold/Chautauqua Chaos 16U/Wheatfield 18U/Lancaster Heat 16U/Southern Tier Bandits 18U /Synergy 16U/Amherst Lightning Rizzo 18U/. Waiting on another 4 teams to answer me back and will take teams till the beginning of July. I currently have 7 area colleges attending Saint Bonaventure D1, University of Pittsburgh Bradford D3, Houghton College D3, SUNY Fredonia D3, Alfred State D3, JCC Olean JCand Monroe CC JC. Im also hoping to add to that list as well.

I realize this is an old post but we did the olean tourney and were impressed. We are from Buffalo, NY so the drive was doable without hotels. It was nice fields and such. Competition was fair and the coaches did come. We then did the New Era Lockport showcase the following weekend and most of the same colleges came. It was similar competition and experience. Several more coaches showed up and stayed until late Sunday which impressed me. Too many times Sunday is useless for exposure.

This is a tourney that the 18U team from DDs org attends. It appears that they get quite a bit of exposure. Being in MA. it won't be so far for your team.

Check out Dave Lotti's Rhode Island Thunder event - nice selection of colleges - well run - cost effective. Going to New York - don't miss out on Lou Bishop's Binghampton event in the summer - TC Tremors - well run with lot's of coaches!

Drifton is a nice complex and well run tourney. Some pretty good teams usually attend.
