I have a question we had a umpire state that my daughter was doing an illegal pitch when her drag foot came out of the line. Said it would not get called till she was in high school since they do not draw the line in the circle. Her pitching coach has never heard of this. We know that her stride foot had to stay in-between the lines but have never heard of the drag foot needing to stay in the lines. Any help would be great.

Were you playing on a field that had the pitching lane lines drawn? If so, those are NCAA only markings and should not be on any other field.

As for the drag foot coming out of the lane, there is no requirement for the drag foot to remain inside the pitching lane. The rules require both feet to start on or within the 24" width of the pitching plate/lane and the stride foot must land on or within the 24" width of the lane, it says nothing about the drag foot.
