Over Throw

Over throw leaves field of play. How many bases do runners get one or two? I thought I remember something from baseball that the over throw is one and leaving the field of play is a second base but not sure about fastpitch? ASA and USSSA. Thanks

Two bases from the time of the throw. Runners are still responsible to retouch any bases missed or left early prior to advancing to awarded bases.

It's 2 bases from the time of the throw unless it's a pitch that goes out of play then it's 1.
