Players playing for two teams in same tournament

DD played in a PGF qualifier tournament today. One of the organizations had two teams playing, both at 14u. Two girls from the organization played on both teams. Is this allowed? I can't see how it could be.

Maybe the TD allowed it, but most tournaments that would be illegal.

I saw this happen in a showcase once. We defeated one team from an organization and a couple of games later played a different team from the same organization. Rarely, if ever does that happen. However, there were approximately 4 or 5 girls from the team we played the day before on this team. It was a showcase and so, I suppose it doesn't matter. However, I bet it mattered to the girls who were to be the starters on this second team who sat the bench.

IF it is not a qualifier and teams are not locked for qualification I probably would not have too much heartburn over it especially if girls play up because of injuries to girl on another team.

But just rotating girls from team to team within the same age and class would be poor form and playing down age or class (even though eligible) would also be poor form but in the end if it is not a qualifying tourney pretty much whatever the TD allows goes.

Showcase OK, Tournament that is a DQ, they got it right.
