Base runner on third. After a strikeout, the opposing team celebrated at the pitchers mound, including the catcher.

Our girl runs home, without stopping.

Is this an out due to the ball in the circle, or is she safe at home

Who has the ball? It has to be in the pitchers control. Did your runner return to the base? Did your runner break for home as her first move as the pitcher received the ball?

Typically in your situation I see it as the pitcher gets the ball back, the runner returns to the base, the defensive team then goes to the circle. If the runner leaves to go home at that point she is out.

If the catcher carries the ball into the circle and the pitcher does not possess the ball, game on run scores.

It depends on what the base runner was doing when the pitcher got the ball in the circle (i.e. standing, advancing or returning to 3B) and subsequently.

If she stood still as they gathered, I would expect her to be out for LBR. If she was moving, didn't stop more than once and then only momentarily, I would expect her to be safe.

Added: Just saw previous response and she would also be out if she left 3B after the pitcher got the ball in the circle.
