Can someone send a link? This way parents can have it printed, show the coaches and umpires. Its going to be a problem, trust me.
It is my understanding NY plays under ASA rules, but doesnt matter because it is legal in both. And it shouldn't be anything new to umpires. Has been legal for at least 5 years now

The NFHS is not in the business of making endorsements for products; thus you will not find a press release from NHFS on a drying agent. Gorilla Gold is similar to other drying agents and should be treated as such. This means it may be used and may be kept in the pocket or on the mound for NFHS games.

The NFHS link on some of the rules pages is misleading. The handbook says they use ASA rules.
Here's a link to the handbook - 2014-15 NYSPHSAA Handbook. The table on page numbered 137 and the softball section on page numbered 176 both show they use ASA rules.
