If I knew how stop the madness of this thread I would.

Based on another thread that was closed, I thought all you had to do was:

1.) Plan a trip so you have a reason for the request.

2.) Request that the thread be closed because your girl friend is mad at you AND you'd be gone on a trip.

Give that a try.......I know it works for some guys........
