Pocket radar update.

Wow this thing is cool.I think I'm addicted.Clocked the kid on a bike at 4mph the dog chasing him that he didn't see at 7mph then the kid at 8.The punk high school kid in Mommy's car at 26 in the neighborhood.Old couple walking the dog zeroed out.So id say its calibrated.

So on to the real good news i have joined the club!!!Who ever said that" a dad who has a radar gun his kid throws 60mph" was RIGHT!!AND IM IN!!Do i get a patch or something real cool like that now to show of at tournaments or better yet a bumper sticker for the mini van?

Well I'm no pro but the unit seems to be very well constructed.How calibrated it is i don't know yet.I haven't tested it against a known speed.I do like the feature that will track the base runners speed and tell you if they are running through the base or pulling up.

As far as the pitching goes 10u beginner dd 12"ball 40' 38-40 throwing strikes 42-45 wild as heck.And the youngster 6yr w/ 11" ball at 30' 23mph throwing strikes.One thing i did notice it can be a very evil tool.When the girls knew they were being radared their technic broke down signifagantly in the beginning throwing for the gun.Im gonna take some solid advice from here and use it sparingly w/them.Thanks again to all involved the information provided here helped me make a solid purchase.

What was the problem with the kids' bike that he could only get it to
8 mph with a dog chasing? On adrenaline alone he should have hit at least 12-15 mph.
His dad needs to look at the bike...........or your radar is not calibrated

Someone is going to call the police. I would think that you were out there, taking pictures of my kids.

Once your girls get used to it, they won't break down their mechanics. In fact, you can show them that they can't pitch as well, when they are over throwing.
