I have a 12 year old and 16 year old pitcher and here is the routine we go through when we work on pitching.

Warm Ups: Sideways arm straight back, Up top, and than around all working on the whipping motion.
1) We work on hitting spots going around the world twice hitting all 6 spots.
2) Warm up our movement pitches
3) Go to the bump and practice each pitch: Curve, Screw, Drop, Rise, Change
4) Finish with pitching some innings
5) Strength: Pitching off bucket, Flamingo, long toss

Is this a good routine??

Looks pretty good. Our pitching experts can critique it more closely. It's not super important, but U12 and U16 is soccer and mounds are only in baseball.

Maybe you're doing this anyway, but one thing I'd include is alternating the type of pitch and seeing if she can still hit spots. That seems to be an area girls struggle with most. Maybe have them, especially the 12U focus on one movement pitch until they're really good at it. Quality of pitches is a lot more important than quantity. Good luck with your girls.

This. Be great at one pitch vs being good at 4 different ones. Every pitcher should have fastball, change-up, and "X". Be great at X.

Throw "X" at 3 different speeds to different locations and elevations.

Whenever I ask a pitcher what pitches she throws I am always looking for a one word answer.

Bound by secrecy from PC not to reveal the exercises we do. I will say that we start every session off with stretching and then overhand throwing a different distances and we end each session with windmill long tossing.

Where in these routines are there cardio, legs, and core strengthening exercises?
Maybe you just didn't mention it, but if you're not doing these, you won't see the same gains as you would have otherwise!

DD is 16, and generally speaking, we do very few drills. She pitches... If we do decide to do a drill, we refer to the link below, home of a fellow DFP member. When she was younger, we tended to do more drills in order to keep the interest level up. At this point, she practices with a plan. Her and I slot three actual pitching sessions per week. Prior to each session I ask her what she wants to work on. She tells me, and we get to work. She has been pitching for 5 years now and it is her journey, so I allow her to make the decisions. I'm just happy to be a part of it.
