When my DD could locate her fastball for strikes, I got a spool of string and put a nail in the middle of the pitching rubber, then ran the string to the inside corner of the plate and then to the outside corner of the plate. This triangle helped demonstrate the subtle difference in the drive leg plant location to throw inside vs. outside.
