DD has cuts on her pitching hand from gripping the ball. She uses "working hands" lotion and liquid bandaid but only seems to be a short term fix. How do you keep your cuts healed without reopening them every time you pitch?

This is a very common issue when they start learning different spins. Callouses will eventually form, but for now liquid bandaid or superglue are your only options. I'm no dermatologist but it makes sense in my simple mind that applying lotion constantly would delay the callouses from froming....

I second what everyone is saying on her. I always went to the Dollar Store and bought superglue for my dd.

The most important thing I learned when using superglue on my dd's finger was I had to tell my dd, "Don't tell Mom".

Always carried superglue in my softball bag.

shh, but a little pine tar on top of the super glue did wonders for grip. Men's game cheaters :D
