Dominiques travel ball team has finished their season with a showcase tournament. In the meantime, she will probably guest play and will be going to Campbell next month for a softball camp. We have worked on leg, increasing arm speed and drive. We still need to correct the glove swim. It seems this has been the hardest correction for her to correct. She has completed physical therapy on her knee and currently working out in the gym 3xs a week.
She has worked on her batting and moved up from being at the bottom of the batting order to batting 2nd in the lineup.
This is the first tournament pitching without a knee brace.

The glove swim has been an issue...it actually was something she was taught when first learning to pitch..."swipe the bee as you finish up with H/E and slam the door shut...then step into fielders position." Bad instructions created bad habits.
My husband don't understand how glove side can help with the pitch...so everytime I mention it, he says not important in the big picture of the pitch.

Where the lead shoulder is directed is important.

The instruction you are receiving is top notch.

Just an opinion mind you, but watch how Ueno uses her rear leg to get things going.

IMO when the rear leg works in this manner you are more likely to drive out than drive up.

There is power in this.
