She really is interested in learning. In an email exchange after that initial lesson, she was adamant that I send her some information/teaching methods to review. She said she'd like to review and try them out herself this summer before ever trying to teach something new to kids.

Might be information overload, but you might share the IR and Drive files with her.

The distinction is the insults are reserved for those who refuse change, not embrace it. Amanda Scarborough has been praised many times for her instruction evolution and repeated desire to keep progressing and learning.

Maybe instead of you videoing her, suggest that she video herself using an app such as Coaches Eye then look and see what she actually does, and compare it to what she sees in the sampling of elite pitchers. She may find that she already knows how to pitch that way and just has to change the language she uses to teach others to pitch as she did. Doing it on her own takes a lot of the risk out of it.
