Ok, it's official. I am the world's greatest pitching coach. Anyone reading this who see's another coach is CRAZY. After reading this small story, you will all agree. Even Rick Pauly who's name is inexplicably ahead of mine at the Indiana clinic. LOL.

3 weeks ago I got an email from a frantic parent who said their kid had plateaued, lost control, was unable to fix her issues despite the season starting very very soon, the current coach couldn't offer the right solutions to help her so they sent an S.O.S email to me.

Ok, so I took her in at my Wednesday night lessons in Ohio. Within 3 pitches, I saw the problem, asked her a few questions, had her do a few exercises to fix the problem and to self diagnose if it breaks again. At the end, I recommended they buy or make the "Windmill Trainer" and practice with it, along with a few additional homework things.

Fastforward to Yesterday. Dad emailed me that his DD threw a no hitter in the indoor league and all those issues disappeared after practicing with the homework I gave her for the week. "So, we will not be needing to continue lessons at this time, but thank you we couldn't have done it without you!!"

So, she doesn't need to improve, she got it all in a 1 hour lesson.

Needless to say, this was a first for me. I've had people email to say "We don't think this will be a good fit for my DD"... or... "We disagree with your teaching, the follow through in particular, so we are going to move on." But I have never had someone say I "fixed" a kid who was broken to throwing no hitters in 1 hour, and not want to continue.

Since I can obviously perform miracles, I might cure cancer next or work on some form of good for all of humanity. LOL

it's like taking your car for a tune up. technician tunes it up, runs great, you don't have to come back.... until it starts acting up again.

Parents and pitching have gotten crazier. Parents have no clue what it takes...if you try to tell them, they get offended.

Can you elaborate on what the issue was and what helped it?
