Amy, that's funny too. Glad she got the drills so she didn't have to bother with instruction. Because we all know a PC doesn't actually add any value at all.

As for the "instant pitcher," a few years ago I was asked by the freshman HS coach to help with my daughter's team. One thing she had me doing was trying to get a volunteer to become competent enough to pitch so my daughter didn't have to throw 5 games during the week and both ends of a double header. She was realistic in her expectations. But then the varsity coach talked about having me develop a few girls like that as fill-ins. I told him what I needed in terms of space, equipment and time commitment on the part of the girls and that was the end of that. Guess if I was any good I would've just waved my magic wand and given him a stable of pitchers.

The sad part is that the dad should know better. His kid is 16 and has been pitching since 10u. And pitching a no hitter indoors in Ohio is not much to brag about. I know where the kid played, and the lighting is awful in that place.

What am I saying??? Bill really is just that good! You guys better jump on it fast, before he is booked up until your kid graduates college... Seriously though, he's the best.

Even with a fixed website, I only have adult size shirts. Not a lot of selection. I have Tshirts, Akadema pullover sweatshirts, sweat pants, etc. but nothing in kid sizes.

But I do intend to fix the site ASAP with schedule, etc.

Possibly to San Jose... still finalizing the details.

San Jose will be just fine. Ill check the website for updates. I imagine that class will fill up fast.

If you know a guy who can get my DD pre-registered that'd be cool too.

Wow, that's pretty bad if the PC is saying that to get rid of the parent (or the player). Or else that's one heckuva PC.

The father was a piece of work. In 8u, before the games started he would tell the teenage umpires where his daughters strike zone was and would spend 15mins pouring water around the pitching plate and grooming the pitching circle before his precious DD could pitch. Fast forward 5 years and his DD doesn't even pitch anymore!

Somehow I'm not surprised she's not pitching anymore.
