Fixed it. The back throwing shoulder shouldn't dip. She drops it and pulls up at release. The 45 drill helps isolate the shoulder so she can focus on the arm whip.

OK... that's fast... The OP needs the tour... he's checking out the clubhouse. So far he has seen how to post his first video... I'm not in no hurry. Its going to be a long journey....

Ok, arm isolation drills sound like a good start. I think she has been muscling the ball for quite some time now trying gain speed but we didn't know any better. This could take a while to fix but we will keep at it and repost next week with an updated video. This is the kind of support I was hoping to receive when I started posting. Thanks everyone.

Bring both arms down with equal pull-down. Think Boardmember and the word adduction. I think of it as arm/shoulder symmetry.

Here is a different take on it. This kid has such natural athleticism and whip that she just instinctively knows that a long arm is faster than a short one. Others see a shoulder dip, I see a girl with a wicked riseball in two years and a girl that feels how to milk her body for speed.

Dipping the throwing arm is not a bad thing in and of itself. Dipping it so much and angling so hard that you cannot brush effectively, which I see a lot of girls do, is a problem.

her is Jenny dipping her shoulder pretty good.

ahhh shucks PC...I didn't even recognize my kid with the nice color scheme you used. I saw the clip and thought "that kid looks good" then went ...."hey...thats my front yard....hey thats my kid!" truth be told right this very minute I am trying to get her to DIP HER SHOULDER and Bend her back knee to get a little upward release angle on her riseball...

I totally agree with her front arm usage Doug. as I look at her I just see this great whip but a dead front arm that is contributing nada to the motion.

RT- I don't see her as shouldering the ball at all. I see girls with a high throwing shoulder as trying to shoulder it.
