Low and inside is a good thing for someone just learning. It's in the IR sticky threads.

The short arm syndrome.... The shorter the lever, the weaker force applied.
Missing low and right is a direct reflection of her release angle and the distance off her thigh.
She is making brush contact, however it's appears to be on her forearm rather than the ideal location of approx. 2" above the wrist.
Try incorporating a bigger back swing as this will help sync up the timing and rhythm. I love the bent arm, but focus more on a loose, relaxed arm and not just being bent. This will aid in lengthening it.
