you can really see when he wanted to put a lot of spin on the ball, that he would really whip his arm. I have seen him do this live to girls where he gives lessons, it's fun to watch.

JJ, he does have a good one. But he maintains he doesn't use it in games. I know he throws it to girls when he does their BP but that is because the girls see "curve balls" in their games and competition. I used "" there for curve ball because I don't think they are nearly like BH's, but that is beside the point. We used to watch him teach girls how to pick the pitcher and that was amazing to watch and hear too.

He offers to pitch to the older girls occasionally, when my dd was 15, he offered to pitch her a couple during a pitching lesson, she was like "oh hell no!" Lol
Notice in the video, he's about 90% all arm... no legs or explosive drive.. and is still able to hit speeds of 55-60mph, plus all that movement to boot! crazy
I caught a few riseballs from him during one of my dd's lessons a couple years ago, his slow wind up and the no leap makes the actual speed seem unreal, the first pitch about knocked my hat off. It was the first time I'd seen a pro level rise....
