Part of me is glad that "whip" is starting to hit the mainstream maybe people will stop telling my kid to slam the door and palm to face. Then the other part of me likes that it's not mainstream!

U r right. I have never heard her say to b palm up! I have her dvd from a few yrs ago. I guess it is catching on.

Thanks for sharing! Is it fair to say it is never too late to teach an old dog new tricks? What a change she has made over the years and hopefully her students will benefit. Perhaps her previous students are due a refund?

I'm guessing that her prize pupil Lacy Waldrop probably brought this to her attention from the coaching she is getting at school, but maybe not.

Either way, she is trying to better herself as an instructor. All good/great instructors had to learn from somewhere, and continue to learn and grow. Kuddos to her, and all instructors out there that are trying to continually better themselves. It only helps our sport in the long run.
