wow a Glossary... I hadn't found that yet. I guess I have more pages to search.

Welcome Mountainman this is a fun place to sit on the bench and learn from everyone. I'm still new enough to this forum (5 months) and do not know anyone but you will soon get a good look at the ones you kinda want to follow and ones you might not agree with. But we are all wanting to advance our kids and the sport, so have a great time searching through the pages.

here's a few more recent ones that weren't added to the older thread: http://www.discussfastpitch.com/softball-discussions/23500-help-what-all-these-abbreviations.html

Whoa! After spending some time reading last night and watching the vids that Ken B. provided, I see that I have been teaching my DD some bad stuff from all the other vids out there. My only saving grace at this point may be that my DD doesn't listen to me very well. :)

Say it aint so, a DD that does not listen to their father???? That is one good thing about having a pitching coach, at home you are just reinforcing what the PC is teaching, I like to use the "Remember, your PC said to do it this xxxxx" and if you can work with the PC and get on the same sheet of music, they can help the process by telling the DD to listen you while practicing at home.

Been there! I was teaching the worst of the worst, text book hello elbow and slam the door. Luckily I found this forum and I read as much as I could (still do) daily. Took a while, it's a lot of info and I'm still learning! Take your time, read all you can. If you have the time teach yourself to throw from the I/R in classroom sticky, or Javas videos. Then you can explain and demo to others much better. Welcome!
