I would have her throw it into the ground 5' in front of plate, then on the plate and work up to knees. As Rick P says, angle of release. Landing in her final posture will lead to better front side blocking and help tighten her spin up. She appears to be working thru her posture instead of hitting it. She looks real good, just not realizing the feel for throwing downhill yet. YMMV
