My DD (9 year old) has been going to private lessons for 2 years. She will be moving up to 10u next year.
Below is a link of her pitching.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn9HTC80dn4

Yesterday at practice she was able to show what she has been working on for the 1st time against live hitters. I have to say she looked awesome.

The Problem.
One of her travel ball coaches is also a pitching coach. Yesterday was the 1st time he has seen her pitch.
He was making suggestions to my little one that was different from what she has been taught.
On the way home my DD mentioned she was confused. She didn't know if she should listen to her Travel ball Coach or Private Coach. I told her to take it up with the head coach. To ask him who she should listen to.

The Travel Ball coach is suggesting she work on her drive mechanics.
He doesn't like when she bends at the waist while pushing off the mound. There were other small suggestions as well.

It didn't bother me just made my little one confused.

Any suggestions on how to handle this?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Although you daughter looks okay, there is room for improvement. That being said, you pay a pitching coach, not the TB coach. I would take into consideration what the TB coach states and bring it up with the pitching coach. Then let the PC decide.

I run into the same thing and bring up all sorts of questions to the PC of my DD. He addresses them and gives reasons as to why or why not it may be a good/bad idea. DD PC is very open, and after all, I am paying him for advice. I am often times more enlightened when I leave the PC than I am from travel ball.

This is all true, but after two years, I would expect further progress. Perhaps the paid PC isn't a great fit.

For me it depends on the suggestions being made by the TB coach. Like Top_Notch and DNeeld mentioned, she has areas that need improvement and if the TB coach is seeing things better than the PC, it might be a good opportunity for her. Need more details...

I've been frustrated with her progress for the past year. I don't think its the coaches fault. She tends to over think her pitches.
We've been trying to hit it hard this summer. We practice 3 times per week or more.
I keep waiting for the light to turn on. She loves to pitch so I keep going out.

The suggestions made by the TB coach made sense to me, there just different from what is being taught by her pitching coach. I will take it as a good opportunity and will tell my little one the same thing.

I think I was more nervous then she was yesterday.

Either way you handle it you need to get the conflict resolved. Younger girls want to listen to coaches so it's a real problem if she is getting conflicting advice. (once they hit 13 they know it all so it's less of a problem:) DD has played for 2 types of TB coaches. One made it clear that if you had a hitting coach (she didn't pitch) and they told you something in conflict that you should let them know that the HC told you to do it that way. The other was more of a my way type of coach but would call HC if you wanted and would work it out.

ornelas85, I think she looks great for her age. Yes she has things to work on, but she's 9, of course she has things to work on.

As far as the conflict, it does need to be addressed as it will also hamper your DD's skill growth. You don't want her confused, you don't want her doing one thing for one coach and another thing for another. You want her confident.
Talk to her team coach, express that she is seeing an instructor and you don't want conflict. If you feel what the team coach is saying has merit, then address that with her pitching coach as well. Nothing wrong with keeping an open mind. See what her PC says, they may be willing to handle those issues with you.
Just make sure anything the team coach has to say about her changing a pitching motion goes through you, not your DD. You shouldn't make your 9yr old go to the head coach.
