DD took a couple of weeks off from pitching. We were going to take a bit longer but decided last minute to go to a tryout yesterday. So we head out to the backyard to throw a few. She is 11 so I am not getting a great take on what she is saying. She is saying that she isn't feeling her arm in the windmill. When I asked for a little bit more info she rolled her eyes and then told me it was in her bicep area and she wasn't feeling it and it was throwing her off. I feel like this is probably a reason to go to the doc, but I'm hoping to get a little better Understanding of what she could possibly be talking about and what I can ask the doc to look for. She says nothing about pain, just that she can't feel it.

thoracic Outlet Syndrome is something that can affect pitchers and results in lack of feeling in the arm or tingling I think. I am not a doctor, but I do well at jeopardy! Most nights so there is a very good chance I am 100% Right on this. You might want to see a doctor though just in case.

I would get some video of her pitching motion and post a slow motion clip on here for the experts to evaluate. It could be a flaw in her mechanics. My DD gets tendinitis in her elbow because she rotates the ball too early in her windup. Hard to see with the naked eye, but easy to diagnose in slow motion.
