This is how much I paid attention to dd's glove slap. I thought she hit finger side to thigh like Cat. She had been pitching about 5 years before I actually realized she hit thump side. I pride myself on paying attention to the details! Lol

DD PC has been trying to get DD to pull her mitt in, or even slap, more forcibly at release. Calls her a one armed thrower. She has pitched a lot this week and I can see she there is a slight slap now. Last night at AS practice she was wearing runners shorts and I could see a handful of little bruise dots on the side of her right thigh. (lefty) After reading this thread, I thought to look at her Wilson mitt and sure enough there is ONE knot on the finger side of her glove making these little bruise dots.
