My husband tells me that hello elbow pitching is natural and correct way to pitch. He says the players he watched pitching on tv uses this method. Any input because I am losing this battle? He already taken out her drive from her legs since he says stepping out is better. He is saying her pitching is off because she is not using a hello elbow...I am saying she is off because of not creating a good front resistance with not a very good leg drag.
The thing is, my daughter will do what my husband says...I have tried to get him on this site but he claims he don't have enough time and besides, he knows what he is talking about.

He is trying to control the ball opposed to throwing the ball.

Have him look or fell his motion when he throws it overhand. His hand does not go to his throwing shoulder.

Here is a very easy test for your hubby Crystal, on the "natural" part of hello elbow.

Relax your arms by your side, and then lift both straight out in front of you. Palms are down, right? Now turn your palms up. Feel the tension?

Now if you get in the nine o'clock position, with ball down, no tension. now turn ball up, feel the tension?

now, do you really want to have More Tension when you are finished, than you do at nine o'clock?

I have watched all the games, I have seen only one HE finish, and she turned her arm Back, after IR release. her hand was upside down, then she turned it back up.
Remotes have the frame by frame slo mo.

I tried using this approach..all of makes me want to do is hello elbow him to the chin. How he thinks the spin of the ball is so far off.
