I never could see what they were even calling in the replays. They looked far more legal than all the others that are known offenders. Awesome game though. I think I would have walked Bell. The pitch she went yard on was a great pitch and 90% of most batters couldn't have even made contact with it much less put it over the wall. There's a reason Bell has the number of hits she does.....pitchers need proceed with extreme caution. :)

I've been hearing from the local college umps that they have been told to enforce having both feet on the pitching rubber at the start of the pitch. I have been seeing quite a few calls where the pitcher is either stepping back or forward or even just slipping off the rubber and creating a visible gap before the pitch starts. Apparently this is the pitching sin they want enforced for this college season.

Leaping around like a kangaroo is still not getting called all that often unless it is either really obvious or the coaches start chirping about it. Though honestly I have seen more legal pitchers this year than I have seen in past years.

Carly comes off on the drag foot but it is close! Love to see it just where you can stick about 2 sheets of paper between toe and ground.
