You are absolutely correct there. Anonymous posters have never carried any weight on this or any other message boards. I give Bill H. credit for putting his name to his posts, I have alot of respect for that.

There have been several posters on this board that said they also played Major A Ball. Some of them use their real names. Many hide behind the anonymous thing.
Hal, I would like to think that I'm not hiding in my anonymous posts; but avoiding self-promotion. If you are actually interested in knowing my identity, it is very close to being fully revealed in one of my posts and I am not a legend. I actually live reasonably close to you and even though I very much disagree with much of what you promote, I would love to have lunch with you some day if I haven't totally burned you up by then. :)) I still say that these young ladies that you and I work with every day need consistent models as expressed in today's world class pitchers- to have coaches that skillfully identify the common thread that is demonstrated by them and not invent making a minor a major.

I would bet the Jennie Finch has struck out more MLB players than anyone. Does that make her "the best ever"? A FP pitcher striking out a MLB hitter is akin to a carnival sideshow. There are many top players in the mens game that washed out and never made it to the MLB who would hammer Jennie Finch or other pitchers.

riseball, I didn't post those images to suggest Ty was the "best ever" because he could strike out MLB'ers. I posted those images to show his pitching motion. I could have very easily cut the batter out of the picture. Forrest for the trees.
