but the other thing is you can not use a gif it has to be a video gif frames are not the same when you convert the video you need to use original video not a gif

I didn't... I used a download off You-Tube from your post. It was shot @ 59.97 fps. Thats why I'm using the seconds in stead of frames... as you can see my Editor gives me both Frames & Sec. It's just one less calc.

when it played on here you can tell it is a gif that you posted on here. but anyhow just use the time from her hand to your glove. if she lets go at 5 feet from rubber and your 3 feet behind plate just use 40 - 2 and it would be 38.

to hard to see exactly where that ball is at in mid flight use the footage from her hand to your glove it will be an exact footage and then you can have an exact time :)

Yes... I did make it a .gif instead of put the cut clip up on You-tube... it was just to show you the distance I was using.

@ 35' / .40 *682...ect I come up with 57 MPH.

Here's DD 2 years ago w/ off the table Drop... w/ calc... I got it @ 39 MPH

This is what I'm after... being able to calc. my old clips. And my new ones. Since I'm editing them ect... anyhow it would be nice to be able to get a bearing on speed too, w/ my camera.

It's exactly the same D. A gif is simply frames of video extracted and laid end to end. If the frame rate is std. 30fps, the gif animation software will extract those 30 frames for every second of video. Same for other frame rates. UNLESS the processor is to slow and frames are skipped or added because of the processor delay. But all things given with no download or processor delay, one second of 30fps video will result in 30 frames of gif animation. Duplicate frames can be deleted if they occur due to download or processor delay, to revert the clip to 30fps. You cannot fix a gif that is missing frames.

It's pretty common for not so honest people to doctor clips by removing frames in a particular clip to make thing appear "faster" then they really are. Especially when it comes to bat speed. Those people are usually caught by people familiar with animation software, because it becomes obvious when you watch frame by frame because the clip "jumps" ever so slightly when viewed frame by frame.

Regardless, gifs are the same as video, the frames are just separated into individual pictures that run on a delay set by the software.

31 / .37 = 84 * .682 = 57.288 mph (round off to) 57 mph + 3 mph = 60 MPH

I'll get it closer, when I learn to use this radar...

Why the +3 mph? I've seen this a couple times. I thought in another post Amy said something about using the glove radar number and adding 5 mph. Is this to back into release speed? Also think I've read somewhere the ball losses ~1 mph / 10 ft in the air.
