Maybe grippier shoes or a mop for the floor? Hate to see her get injured because her front foot slipped out from under her. The pitching part looks good.

Would be nice to get more engagement from the ball of the foot on the drive and not so much heel to toe rocking motion.

I trying to come up w/ something for her to push off of.... I better at least get a 2"x 6"x 24" and ducktape it.. Thx

She stopped me from wrappin up to throw this pitch @ ME. (it was a heater !!!) She is noticing I'm getting alittle flinchy behind the plate. Its my eyes, and the lighting in there kinda plays tricks on me. I'm getting an umps mask...finally that time.

A couple of things. Her pivot foot is taking a huge step forward before she pushes off. First thing I would fix. Secondly, her finish after release is way too high which leaks lots of good arm whip upstream. Overall, she looks pretty good though.

Agreed. If your doing the "2step" Java describes the pivot foot step as a pawing motion.....You don't gain any ground with the right foot, kind of a down and back push....

Nice work though, she looks good!

Yep... the "2step".... Thx. I can see that NOW... We were done, but she wanted to add this.... I think she was just trying to throw as hard as she could to scare me, since I've been flinchy inside with them lights, and her increased speed.

Stop by the local farm, or a decent hardware store, and ask for some 3/8 inch stall/shop mat. Some stores sell it in 4 foot rolls and you should be able to buy any length in a 6 inch increment. Use a utility knife to cut it in half or into 6x24 inch sections. Buy a roll of gaffers tape (no-residue duct tape) and you can get 2-3 uses out of a 6 inch strip. A firm/tight knap, piece of carpet will work just as well.

As mentioned above, get her some decent gym shoes if she has to practice much on a gym floor. You might also consider bringing a couple good-sized rags along when you have to work out in a gym. Get one rag slightly damp to wipe down the area she's working in, then use the other to dry. Keep them close by or lay them out at the approximate location of the back of the circle so she can wipe clean her shoes on the damp rang the step onto the dry one before approaching the pitchers plate.
