Working on transitioning my daughter to IR. Started about 3wks ago after some downtime following a long season. This will be her 3rd season pitching. Been primarily working through the progression of drills highlighted by BM in the IR in the classroom sticky. Slowly getting there but still missing the whip often enough that we could use the help. We're located in NW Indiana and don't mind a couple hour drive each way to work with an instructor every couple of weeks maybe every week during this transition. Most of the instructors in our area that I know of teach HE. Served her well enough for 8u rec league but she has made a 10u TB team and it's definitely been an eye opener. She's loves the game and wants to progress at this next level. Anyone know of some well respected instructors in our area? Ideally one-on-one instruction as she does not like group lessons. Thanks!

Hillhouse is a good recommendation too. It is going to be a good drive for you because he usually comes out to the western suburbs. Signup early if you go this route and maybe spend the night, then go back home after the couple individual lessons.

You might be as close to some of his clinics east of you but I do not pay that close of attention.

Yeah so definitely looking for an instructor that we can go to regularly if need be for tuneups and the like. Local instructor not a visitor preferable.

I've been looking for and instructor in NWI also. I've offended a couple HE instructors by suggesting something other than what they do.
