DD is having trouble with the outside pitch. She is wanting to pull across her body. Any suggestions?

The easy question is: where is her front foot landing?

Ya - power line adjustment.
Front toss, with her facing you at about a 45-degree angle. Toss the ball to her back hip and have her try to drive the ball back over your head.
I think she was pitching not hitting.
I guess that would be why it's in the pitching forum, huh?

We put a piece of tape as a marker for where her front foot needs to land for an outside pitch. Often my DD wants to guide it when she steps so it goes way outside. Every pitching session we would throw an extra 10-15 outside pitches and see what her hit rate was. Eventually she got better with her accuracy and believing in her mechanics to not guide the pitch. Seemed like it was more mental training than physical.
