My daughter is a beginning pitcher and I'm looking to purchase one or some of Bill Hillhouse's videos to help us along. Based on the video descriptions it seems some might repeatative or updates from previous versions. I'm looking for recommendations of which video(s) I should get.

Thanks!

His newest video called "101" is a remake, its a beginers guide. Id suggest going with that one first. Id also recommend you go to PAULEYGIRLFASTPITCH.COM as well. Rick has a lot of 5 min videos for a small fee that can be downloaded immediately. Between those two sources, you'll be off to a great start.

Bill's videos are great and Rick is awesome too, but nothing will benefit you more than studying BM's I/R threads and Java's Drive Mechanics.........plus they are free!

I believe this to be true also...anyone who reads everything in these two threads and then re-reads them as they go should be able to get anyone wanting to learn to pitch off to a great start.

Thanks all. I have read, reread and will probably read again those posts you've listed. I think I will just start with the info from the posts and go from there. I'm sure I'll be back with lots of questions for y'all. :)

One more thing...actually perform the drills yourself to get a true understanding of what's happening.

Here's the corrected link for Pauly's site: PaulyGirl Fastpitch (No"E" in Pauly.)
I also like the new videos that Rich Balswick recently posted on his site: Videos | Balswick Fastpitch

Glad to hear you're learning along with your daughter. This will really help it come alive for you as you'll be able to feel it. This makes relating to her much easier.
