Yet another clip showing, what I see as, the wrong hand orientation at 9:00 going into release. I'm sure her intentions are good, but....

Talking about and showing arm-whip is not sufficient when it comes to the IR style.

Watch starting at the 6:15 mark. Pay attention not only to the arm orientation, but also her palm--ball is up (palm up) going past 9:00 and toward release.

This is a fantastic clip! Rick Pauly mentions the palm up orientation, but also discusses the effects of holding it too long going into release with regards to the "brush contact." I really like how he describes "brush contact." If you do it correctly, there won't be any slamming of your arm into your body, but rather it will be a "brushing, rolling through type of an action."

Any idea why she wears the elbow sleeve?

And, while this instructor seems to be advocating arm-whip, evidenced by the orientation of her forearm relative to upper arm going into release, the wrist action is more the wrist-snap HE style (palm down/back at 9:00) release. I don't see it as being in harmony with the IR method.

Funny I mentioned Rita Lynn Gilman on here about a year ago and everyone dismissed here as nonsense. Lol
