Bleed over from baseball?
I also think baseball is why the girls don't want to wear shorts anymore.
Last year, the coach gave our girls a choice of pants or shorts and they all wanted shorts, but I think that will be different next year since more than half the teams we faced last season made the move to pants.

My friend, who is also a professional sports photographer took some great pictures at the last tournament. For some reason, this is my favorite….judging by her grip, she is throwing an off speed, drop curve.
