Cheyo. Look here: http://www.discussfastpitch.com/softball-pitching/20897-javasource-visting-texas.html#post273791

It would b of great help for your dd (darling daughter) to meet and work w/ Javasource!

I don't think u want her to learn forearm fire!

Thanks!

So forearm fire isn't another way to describe I/R? I keep seeing people refer to it as that? Lordy, this is tough.
I've been checking out the paulygirl channel on YouTube and thinking, "That's what I'll send when I'm asking a PC how she teaches" - but I've also been told that it makes no sense to use the term I/R because only DFP people understand it.

I haven't scoped out the forearm fire stuff in a while, but as I recall, it used to be more of an interpretation how whip/IR work. It may have evolved and improved since. To get a breakdown, try googling "forearm fire discussfastpitch" for a couple threads.

Not sure why this forearm fire technique is getting such bad reviews. I started this technique in spring and received really good results. Am I missing something?

Cheyo... If I was you, I would go see Hillhouse when he's in Dallas. His schedule is on his website. He explains it and then demo's it. It looks so incredibly simple when he demonstrates and inspires kids to want to pitch that smooth. At least it does for my kid.
