Psycho, it would defenitely be worth your time.
We drove 9 hours and it was totally worth it!!!
Where in NJ are you? If you are in the North, bergen county- Phil Schoenberg (FastPitch Power.com) is in Southern Westchester, not too far. If you are near Morristown or west, Kim Broking gives lessons at Sports Galaxy in Hackettstown- otherwise, you probably are going to need to go yourself and watch a the person give a lesson to check out what they teach.

What city are you in and do you do lessons on Sundays? Both my daughters have been taught by Jim McDonald(coach Mac). He was an icon in the softball world in this area and a truly great man and instructor. Unfortunately,he passed away this past June and we haven't been able to find anyone they really like since then.

My daughter went to Coach Mac for 4 years. We were crushed when he passed away earlier this year. There were so many that knew of him and benefited form his teaching. He did his own catching until he had to stop teaching when he got sick. It is going to be difficult to find someone that can connect with the students like he did. I still use his line, "Now lets end on a pitch that makes you smile!"
