bill's first DVD building the house was quite good, but i was quite disappointed with tricks of the trade - too much talk, no actual demo - unless i missed that somewhere in the DVD and has some advertisements

IDK about site updates but the newest video is supposed to include a lot of the mental side of pitching. Things like what pitch and what location gives you the highest probability of getting the batter to ground into a double play or pop up for example, statistically speaking...

After some emailing with Bill, I'm correcting myself regarding my last post about the new DVDs content in claiming to be on strategy. That was wrong. He and I had spoke about it a few months ago and based on that conversation, I took a brainstorm idea of his and thought is was reality. The truth is, the newest video will basically be a remake of the first one called Building the House. Due to some legal issues associated with the original. This one will basically be pitching 101. Updated with new terminology and basics for beginners. As well as some new content. Sorry for the confusion.

There is a strategy one coming, from what I'm told. But the first of his new ones to be released is, like James said, one for mechanics.
Personally, every time I'm at DD's lessons and they are working on something mechanical it seems like something else "clicks" for us. Not changing the content of what he says but a difference in the terminology can lead to an "ah ha!" moment on something that might seem basic. So, I'm pretty sure this new video will be some thing everyone will benefit from.

I see on the House of Pitching website that Pre-orders are being taken for the new video. I hope everyone on this board gets a copy to support Bill, even though he doesn't come on this board much anymore he's always ready to answer my questions whenever I've asked!!!!!! Even did lessons for us when I was laid off work, so I know I will be supporting him.
