pitcher's glove suggestions

DD's been complaining that her glove slips off her hand and she has to "grip it" when pitching. not good.
one suggestion was to wear a batting glove first.

DD"s glove is a 13" mizuno which was pretty good when new, but now the velcro closure isn't really holding that good any more.

any suggestions on a good and not-so-expensive glove?

My DD loves the Akadema AJB74. It is a smaller glove (12" listed but Akadema are traditionally smaller.) which she prefers to wear in the infield anyway (she plays 2B when not pitching).

You should be able to find it in the $80 range.

Thanks Amy. The Vincis don't fit into the not so expensive requirement though. They are expensive, but the return on investment is high. They will outlast cheaper gloves.

I may have been the only one to love this series of gloves, but they're discontinued and $50 now:

A600 is also a good value.

In the sub-$100 range, I've been very pleased with the Mizuno MVP-series gloves I recently purchased for both of my DDs.

If you're able to spend the money, the a Vinci is a very good choice.

I really like the look of that glove. Is it harder to clean the textured finish?
