How do the Ringors hold up on the side? DD drags her toe except on her rise and screw. On those, she drags her toe until almost at release and then she drags the whole side of the front of her shoe. Working on fixing it but in the meantime, she is going through cleats in 3-4 months.

Ringors with a pitching toe will be your best bet. There is also a company that will "dip" the toe of your shoe in a special rubber essentially creating a pitching toe.

I, too, use and recommend Ringors. I am currently wearing the molded cleat, with the protect toe and it had saved my toes several times. I would have gotten the turf shoe, but it didn't have the protect toe. I did wear the sole down on the turf shoe after about 5 years. But, mine see daily use.

I just posted a coupon for Ringors. Cons - they run small.

Amy, Ringor does put the protect toe on their turf shoes. DD has a pair she wears on turf and in the cages for a couple of seasons now.

My daughter and son both change the insoles on their cleats. They haev a few different types at most athletic stores by the shoe department. The easiest test I've heard, get your feet wet, then step on concrete until the foot print starts to fade down a touch. Then look at the arch area... if its a big dry spot, you have a high arch, and need more support. --careful goign full support too fast, as it can cause alot of new strain on the foot, and hurt your entire body. I would work up to the different levels over a year.

Cleats, my daughter had the Ringors. She has the 'light' ones. They were ridiculously heavy. She prefers the Mizunos. Finch G6 I think weighs in at 9.6 (easy to verify on web search) ozs vs Ringors are 14+ ozs. When you watch girls run, to me, it is easy to see those heavy cleats, they really stand out. My daughter had a noticeble speed increase (running) when she switched out of the Ringors. I found it interesting that as I scoured their site and boxes, I never could find the weight of those cleats (back then).

For me, legging out singles and doubles is worth way more than the extra life of the Ringor cleats...which honestly would last 5 years i'm guessing, except for the spikes.

That's my feedback.
