I'd be curious to hear javasource's thoughts on her drive:

In addition to improving her posture/resistance, I think she could also improve just a touch on her whip with a focus on keeping loose from the elbow down. Pull the ball down into release.

I think Ueno (below) demonstrates sluggers' point to make better use of the glove. Use the glove to help power both the drive and the whip--Up together/down together.

Updated video - haven't really had time to work on mechanics for awhile during season and pitching. I can definitely see she is leaking a lot of power by throwing her shoulder and not staying back - we just started working on this over the last week (after this video) - we are going to work on mechanics for about 4 weeks and then she is going to take some time off over the holidays - 6-7 weeks or so before we start up again in January.

I dislike the drill or whatever it is that has the right foot in the air. Aside from lack of balance, creates another habit that could lead to being called illegal. There are other ways to get landing leg strength.

Yes, we are going to start working on keeping the right leg down more and front leg/shoulder resistance. Our main focus lately has been more "arm-whip" / I/R - whatever you want to call it as she grew up pushing the ball - used to bend over a lot more. She is starting to get more of the feeling of pulling/whipping her arm and that has definitely helped her overall, but I think her push-off and landing both need more detail. Trying not to overwhelm her with too many items at once.

Thanks for the comment - what suggestions do you have for improving her landing leg strength?
