despite my fervent adherence to only rooting for PAC-10 teams I have to admit that I have been silently cheering USC upstate's top 25 ranking for a while and assuming it had a lot to do with our asylum mate. Funny thing about a team like this or Tulsa, you never know how off the ranking is because they play such a different schedule from the teams in the big conferences. For all we know they should be ranked a lot higher.

The sheer mentioning the name Rick Pauly here on this site commands a great deal of respect and reverence. Many of us here owe a lot to Rick for the warm, gentleman way he interacts with is all here. I am quite sure it is even more pronounced out there when he puts on a clinic or works with a pitcher.

Kudos, Rick! May you continue to feed your softball hunger while helping your wife enjoy being closer to the people she wants to be closer to.

I'm not a pitching coach but I'd be first in line. Being a bucket mom, I've appreciated all the knowledge he's shared. My daughter gets better every time we practice and we have much more fun too!
